The Studio of Mosaic Art will be donating two bugs to , HSFO, to help them raise funds, as they are having to move to new premises.

Wednesday 9am to 12pm.
Thursday    9am to 12 pm.
Friday         9am to 12pm.
Saturday     1pm to 4pm.

Setpping Stones.

There is a weekend stepping Stone class starting on the 28th of this month.
The course covers how the make the stepping stones themselves right up to 5 different methods of finishing.

A new beginners class has started at the studio. So come and try your had at mosaic art and join in the fun.

New beginners classes starting and new opening times for the studio

The starting dates for the next foundation course in mosaics are;

Wednesday 28th of May 9am to 12pm
Thursday    29th of May 9am to 12pm
Friday        30th of May 9am to 12pm
Saturday     31st of May 1pm to 4pm

The lovely Linda will be flexing her teaching wings for Thursday and Friday's classes  (Yay!) and assisting Bruce on Wednesdays and Saturdays, as usual.

Foundation Mosaic

To all regular mosaic students the new times are open to you too, usual fees apply and all are welcome.

K9 has arrived!

So the dog is finally here! And will soon be down in the garden, keeping an eye on that pesky Dalek.

Colour Course

Bruce is hoping to start a weekend colour course, starting on Friday the 14/3/14 and ending Sunday the 16/3/14. The course will run over all three days. 
The first lesson will start at 6:30pm Friday night till 9:30pm.
Saturday from 9:00am till 4:00pm with a break for lunch. (Please provide your own Lunch.)
And Sunday 9:00am till 12:00 noon.

Colour is very important in the construction of a mosaic. It can make the difference between something that looks flat and lifeless to a work that is truly stunning.
